This session is specifically designed to transform players into confident goal scorers by mastering the technical skills needed to beat modern goaltending. Develop the habits of elite finishers.
Coaching Focus Areas:
- Proper Shooting Form
Perfect weight transfer and follow-through for maximum power and accuracy. - Goal Scoring Techniques
Learn how to find openings and finish from high-danger areas. - Shooting off the Pass
Master one-timers and quick-release shots. - Deflections & Net Front Presence
Improve timing and hand-eye coordination to redirect pucks effectively. - Deception
Learn to hide the release and change shooting angles to catch goalies off guard. - Film-to-Ice Transfer
Study high-level clips of top collegiate and NHL scorers performing the same drills. Seeing the “why” behind the move on screen makes it click faster on the ice.

The Goalie "Shot-Reading" Lab
Goalie Clinic
Goalies aren’t just targets at this clinic; they are the ultimate test for our shooters in a high-volume, live-action environment. While the primary focus is on scoring, goalies gain a unique “under the hood” look at how shooters use deception and angle changes, providing a mental edge to read and anticipate the next shot.
By facing a massive volume of shots from high-danger areas, you’ll sharpen your lateral movement, puck tracking, and save selection under real-game pressure. Listening to scoring instruction helps you understand the “why” behind each release, improving positioning and rebound control.
